RETURN, REPLACEMENT & REFUND POLICY

At Techverse, every order is carefully processed, verified and packed before dispatch. This policy establishes the procedure and eligibility requirements for return, replacement and refund requests.

1. RETURN WINDOW

Eligible return or replacement requests must be submitted within 7 days from the date of delivery.

Requests submitted after the applicable return period may be declined.

2. ELIGIBLE CASES

Returns or replacements may be considered only for the following verified issues:

  • Wrong product received

  • Damaged product received

  • Missing product or accessory

  • Manufacturing or functional defect, where applicable

A return or replacement is not automatically approved merely because a request has been submitted.

3. MANDATORY UNBOXING VIDEO

For claims involving a wrong, damaged or missing product/item, the customer must provide a clear, continuous and unedited unboxing video for verification.

The video must:

  • Begin before opening the sealed parcel.

  • Clearly show the shipping label.

  • Show the complete parcel before opening.

  • Show the parcel being opened continuously.

  • Clearly show the product and all contents received.

  • Continue until the complete contents have been removed and displayed.

The video must not contain cuts, edits, unexplained interruptions or missing portions of the unboxing process.

IMPORTANT

Photos alone, videos recorded after the parcel has been opened, incomplete videos, edited videos, unclear videos or videos that do not establish the contents of the original parcel may be insufficient to verify a claim.

4. CLAIM REJECTION

A return, replacement or refund request may be declined following verification if:

  1. The request is submitted after the applicable 7-day period.

  2. Required evidence is not provided.

  3. A proper unboxing video is unavailable for a claim where it is required.

  4. The unboxing video starts after the parcel has already been opened.

  5. The video is edited, cut, interrupted or incomplete.

  6. The parcel, shipping label or contents cannot be clearly identified.

  7. The video does not clearly establish what was received inside the parcel.

  8. Only photographs or post-opening videos are provided and the original contents cannot reasonably be verified.

  9. The product has been damaged after delivery due to misuse, negligence, improper handling or unauthorized modification.

  10. The product shows signs of tampering or alteration.

  11. The returned product does not correspond with the product originally shipped.

  12. Any accessory, component, packaging or item originally supplied is missing from the returned shipment.

  13. The claim is inconsistent with available order, dispatch, courier or shipment records.

  14. The claim cannot reasonably be verified from the evidence available.

  15. There is reasonable evidence of product substitution, tampering or misuse of the return process.

  16. The customer fails to provide information reasonably required to investigate the claim.

5. CCTV FOOTAGE

CCTV footage may be submitted as supporting evidence.

However, CCTV footage will not ordinarily substitute for a proper unboxing video where the CCTV does not clearly establish the condition and contents of the sealed parcel throughout the opening process.

CCTV footage recorded from a distance or footage that does not clearly show the contents of the parcel may not be sufficient by itself to establish a wrong-product or missing-item claim.

6. PHOTOGRAPHS & VIDEOS

Techverse may request clear photographs and/or videos of:

  • Outer parcel

  • Shipping label

  • Packaging

  • Product received

  • Accessories

  • Damage, if any

  • Complete contents of the shipment

All submitted evidence may be reviewed for consistency with the original order and shipment records.

7. VERIFICATION PROCESS

Techverse reserves the right to verify each claim before approving a return, replacement or refund.

Verification may include review of:

Order details, invoice, product information, dispatch records, courier records, shipment weight, packaging, photographs, videos, customer communication and other relevant information.

Submission of evidence does not guarantee approval.

8. RETURN APPROVAL

Customers must not ship any product back without prior approval from Techverse.

Once a claim is reviewed and approved, Techverse will provide the applicable return instructions.

Products returned without prior authorization may be held pending verification.

9. PRODUCT CONDITION FOR RETURN

Where a return is approved, the product should be returned with the applicable original packaging, accessories and components supplied with the order.

Techverse may decline or adjust the resolution where the returned product is materially different from the product originally dispatched or where components are missing, subject to applicable law.

10. WRONG PRODUCT CLAIMS

If you receive a product different from the product ordered, notify Techverse within 7 days of delivery and provide the required evidence.

The claim will be compared against the original order and available dispatch records.

If the claim is successfully verified, an appropriate replacement or refund may be provided.

11. DAMAGED PRODUCT CLAIMS

Any transit or delivery-related damage should be reported within 7 days of delivery.

Customers should retain the parcel, packaging and product until the claim has been reviewed.

A damage claim may be declined where the available evidence does not reasonably establish that the damage existed at the time of delivery.

12. MISSING ITEM / ACCESSORY CLAIMS

Claims relating to missing items or accessories must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

The complete contents of the shipment must be identifiable through the available evidence so that the claim can be verified.

13. MANUFACTURING / FUNCTIONAL DEFECT

Where a product develops or exhibits a manufacturing or functional issue, Techverse may require the product to undergo verification or testing before approving a replacement or refund.

Damage caused by misuse, accidents, liquid exposure, unauthorized modification, improper handling or other customer-related causes may not qualify.

14. FRAUDULENT OR MISLEADING CLAIMS

Techverse takes fraudulent or misleading claims seriously.

Where there is reasonable evidence of product substitution, tampering, manipulation of evidence, false information or misuse of the return process, the claim may be declined and Techverse may take appropriate action available under applicable law.

15. REFUND & REPLACEMENT

Where a claim is verified and approved, Techverse may provide a replacement or refund depending on:

  • Nature of the issue

  • Verification outcome

  • Product availability

  • Condition of the returned product

  • Applicable law

The applicable resolution will be communicated after verification.

16. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are strongly advised to record a complete and continuous unboxing video for every order, beginning with the sealed parcel and continuing until all contents have been removed and checked.

Customers should also retain the original packaging until the order has been fully inspected.

17. FINAL VERIFICATION

Techverse reserves the right to conduct reasonable verification before approving any return, replacement or refund.

Claims that are unsupported, unverifiable, inconsistent with available records, submitted outside the applicable return period, or otherwise not eligible under this policy may be declined.

18. APPLICABLE LAW

This policy is subject to applicable Indian laws and regulations.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or override any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
